Philanthropy 101

The curriculum was developed in partnership with Philanthropy New York, and is presented in partnership with the Council of Michigan Foundations.

The Council of Michigan Foundations, in partnership with the Johnson Center’s Grantmaking School, is offering a two-day workshop designed for all foundation staff and trustees new to philanthropy. This interactive course will provide a historical overview of philanthropy, foundation governance, and grantmaking, debate the current big issues in philanthropy, and explore the various roles within philanthropy.
