is the host and producer for The WGVU Morning Show, a news magazine talk-show format on the local NPR affiliate Monday through Friday. She also hosts several public affairs program on the TV side, including Family Health Matters and Kalamazoo Lively Arts. Shelley is award winning in her field, including five consecutive Gracie Allen Awards, the 2016 Athena Award and the Rotary of Gr’s Service Among Self award. She serves on several community boards, has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan twice by Gemini Publications and has represented the US in the Long Distance Triathlon and Duathlon World Championships.
Eva Aguirre Cooper
has been the Community Affairs Director at WOOD TV8/WOTV 4/WXSP since 1998, where her responsibilities include community outreach efforts, on-air reporting for 24 Hour News 8 and special station projects including the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program – Live Healthy and our Safe Water campaign. Her community involvement includes participation on various boards and committees such as the Experience Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Community Foundation, Grand Rapids Sister City – Mexico Committee and ongoing participation in the Hispanic Community.
is managing editor of Grand Rapids Business Journal and has served in that capacity for 18 of the newspaper’s 36-year existence.
Amanda St. Pierre, APR
is Principal of Saint PR, a public relations and content writing firm based in Grand Rapids. Prior to launching Saint PR, Amanda was Strategic Communications Manager at Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Amanda spent three years at Mercy General Health Partners where she was Communications Manager, leading services for the bariatrics and aesthetics service lines. Amanda is Treasurer of the West Michigan Public Relations Society of America. She is also Editor for the Water Wonderland Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. She’s a past co-chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Grand Rapids and former Gilda’s Club volunteer.
