The Grantmaking Series is offered for a second year in a row by the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy (JCP) and the Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF). This practitioner-led learning series teaches the techniques of effective grantmaking to new and seasoned foundation professionals. The sessions are highly practical, academically rigorous, and designed to be accessible and affordable. Participants who complete the series requirements receive a certificate of completion.

Participants who complete 12 hours of training (eight webinars) qualify for a certificate of completion. Those participants who did not qualify for the 2014 certificate of completion may carry-over hours from participation in the 2014 series. Whether new to the series or continuing training, participants must complete 12 hours total of training by Dec. 31, 2015 to qualify for a certificate of completion.
