Ian Lang is a research coordinator with the Community Research Institute at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. He joined the Johnson Center in 2016 and is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing community-based research projects.
Prior to joining the team at the Johnson Center, Lang worked as a research specialist at the University of Michigan School of Public Health on projects related to health disparities, health information technology, and chronic disease management.
Lang holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education with a Specialization in Research Methods from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Mich. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration with an Emphasis in Community Health from Grand Valley State University.
