Evaluation may seem like a challenge but it does not need to be time-consuming or expensive to gain worthwhile results. With proper planning and the right resources, you can develop an evaluation program that helps your foundation achieve maximum impact. Join us to develop your evaluation strategy and take home some essential resources for your foundation.

Jodi Petersen, PhDJodi Petersen, Ph.D. is the director of the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy’s Community Research Institute at Grand Valley State University. The Community Research Institute focuses on research, evaluation, web tools, and community responsive data.  Trained as a community psychologist, she holds a doctorate from Michigan State University. She strives to advance the work of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors in Grand Rapids, surrounding communities, and the larger field to collect useful information and use data to inform decision-making.
