Jodi Petersen, Ph.D. is the director of the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy’s Community Research Institute at Grand Valley State University. The Community Research Institute focuses on research, evaluation, web tools, and community responsive data. Trained as a community psychologist, she holds a doctorate from Michigan State University. She strives to advance the work of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors in Grand Rapids, surrounding communities, and the larger field to collect useful information and use data to inform decision-making.
