Grantmaker Ethics and Accountability
March 16 @ 1:00 pm–3:00 pm EDT
Tools and guidance for navigating ethical challenges in philanthropy
Philanthropy has come under increasing scrutiny in recent years in terms of the sources of wealth underlying charitable gifts, the allocation of resources, and its decision-making processes. More than ever, those engaged in philanthropy need an ethical orientation to inform their work.
This session will offer participants:
- The opportunity to reflect upon how the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion can inform ethical decision-making.
- A better understanding of who and what you are accountable to in your work.
- Practical tools and step-by-step guidance in navigating ethical problems.
