Introduction to Board Service
February 2 @ 1:30 pm–4:30 pm EST
A course covering the foundational learning that is key to serving effectively on a board
Board service can be an immensely satisfying undertaking. While passion and commitment often lead people to serve on nonprofit boards, having the technical skills to be effective is critical to helping an organization succeed.

Following the session, participants will be able to:

- Understand governance structures and how to apply them.
- Identify common challenges and related strategies facing nonprofit boards.
