Basic Grantwriting

A two-day course on the basics of grantwriting for nonprofit organizations
Jump-start your grantwriting efforts in this two-day course, designed for new grantwriters and veterans, alike.
Expert instructor Tamela Spicer will guide you through the steps of building a strong case for your project or program and applying key strategies to attract support. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas for potential grant proposals and to keep your work and goals in mind as we go step-by-step through the grantwriting process and workshop ideas together.
More goes into a successful grant application than the details. This class will also provide in-depth guidance on grantwriting language and writing styles, prospecting foundations, and managing foundation relationships.

Meeting Dates & Times:
This course takes place over two days. Participants will meet virtually on Thursday, March 4 from 1–4 p.m. and again on Friday, March 5 from 1–4 p.m. (ET). This course will be a live, interactive experience. It will not be recorded or made available to registrants after the end of the live sessions.
