What It Really Means to Be an Executive Director
November 5 @ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
As an executive director, how can you move from being the one who does it all to the one who facilitates it all happening? That’s the question we’ll address during this interactive workshop led by Tamela Spicer. You will learn how to move out of the role of the chief hero and into the role of chief host, facilitating the success of your entire team — staff, volunteers, and board members.
Key concepts will include:
- Delegating with care
- Managing board relations
- Shifting from triage focus to strategic planning
Cost: $60 (free for GVSU staff/students with ID)
Deadline to register is November 3.
