Heidi McPheeters M.P.A.

Heidi McPheeters is a program manager at Grand Valley State University’s Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy where she is responsible for researching, developing, and managing curriculum for The Grantmaking School and LearnPhilanthropy.

McPheeters has previously worked as an independent consultant and also held positions at the Johnson Center both as a research coordinator with the Community Research Institute and as the graduate assistant to the Frey Foundation Chair for Family Philanthropy. Prior to those roles, she served as a financial aid counselor at Calvin College and as a research coordinator with the United Way of Greater St. Louis.

Heidi earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Calvin College and received a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Grand Valley State University. She currently serves as an officer for the Memorial Trust Endowment at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
