Rooted in Community: The Infrastructure Powering Collective Giving (webinar, June 18, 2026)

How do we sustain the momentum of a thriving collective giving movement?

Collective giving is on the rise. The 2024 In Abundance research report painted a clear picture of this movement’s growth: Between 2017 and 2023, 4,000 giving circles across the U.S. mobilized 370,000 individuals to give away $3.1 billion. With giving circles on track to double in the next five years, how do we sustain this momentum?

The sustainability and vitality of this movement rely on infrastructure and its ability to transform local generosity into a durable, equitable movement. Rooted in Community: The Infrastructure Powering Collective Giving is the latest report from Johnson Center and Colmena Consulting, which maps the ecosystem of organizations, relationships, and systems that make the collective giving movement more connected and accessible.

During this webinar, you’ll hear from lead researchers Adriana Loson-Ceballos and Michael Layton, along with key players in the collective giving infrastructure ecosystem, who will share insights illustrating how infrastructure is fundamental to this movement’s success.
