Angie Vuyst joined the Johnson Center in 2022 as a digital marketing associate. In this role, she is responsible for the strategy and execution of digital marketing plans, monitoring the Johnson Center social media channels, and content development.
Previously, Angie spent 15 years in broadcast media as a producer and brand manager. Her work creating award-winning national radio programs supporting nonprofits inspired her shift toward marketing and communications in the philanthropic sector. Angie has since worked in various marketing and communications roles, creating strategy and content for organizations focused on anti-trafficking, fair trade, the arts, and social services in North Carolina, New York, and Pennsylvania before returning to West Michigan in 2021.
Angie enjoys writing, photography, reading, running, and yoga. She stays current on physical and mental health movements, advocating for neurodiversity inclusion. Angie studied organizational leadership at Fordham and Pennsylvania State Universities.
