Anneliese Orr joined the Johnson Center as a research associate in May 2025. Before joining the center, she worked as a programs specialist at Feeding America West Michigan where she focused on community program initiatives like the Mobile Food Pantry Program. Later she transitioned to Feeding America National Organization to be a research coordinator where she helped make food insecurity research accessible to all.

Anneliese is passionate about using data-backed research to find innovative solutions. She completed her bachelor’s degree in international studies at Baylor University. In addition to her personal experiences, her education sparked in her a desire to embolden others to look at our world through a reflective lens and elevate the voices of individuals in their community.

In her free time, Anneliese enjoys hosting themed dinner parties, knitting, attending concerts, and watching video essays.
