Eric Pearson is the president and CEO of the El Paso Community Foundation. He is a native El Pasoan who came up through public schools and the University of Texas at El Paso, and worked for about 20 years in broadcast journalism and media prior to joining the El Paso Community Foundation in 2003.
Eric became the El Paso Community Foundation’s second President and CEO in 2011. He oversees all aspects of the El Paso Community Foundation’s operation, including its $224 million in assets, $268 million given back to the community since its founding in 1977, its 20-member staff, more than 600 funds and supporting numerous projects such as The Plaza Theater, Plaza Classic Film Festival, El Paso Innovation Hub, Wyler Aerial Tramway, Run International – The U.S./Mexico 10K, Roderick Artspace Lofts, Progress 321, and The Children’s Museum “La Nube,” to name a few.
