Kallie Bauer, M.B.A., is currently the interim director of the Community Data and Research Lab (CDRL) at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University. She is responsible for managing a portfolio of data tools and applied research projects.
Prior to becoming the interim director, Bauer was a project coordinator in CDRL (formerly the Community Research Institute). In this role, she was responsible for planning, implementing, and managing project timelines; monitoring project budgets and deliverables; writing proposals, data sharing agreements, and other client contracts; meeting regularly with clients; and implementing project management best practices across the Johnson Center. She played an active role in several of CDRL’s long-standing projects, including the VoiceKent community survey and KConnect dashboard.
Bauer joined the Johnson Center in 2008 as an undergraduate assistant. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in applied statistics. Bauer is currently pursuing her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
