Jason Entingh joined the Johnson Center in May 2025 and currently serves as a research associate.

Most recently, Jason worked as a research analyst at Basis Policy Research, where he evaluated education programs focused on learning acceleration, early childhood education, and teacher retention. Prior to this, Jason was an English Teaching Assistant in Ruse, Bulgaria through the Fulbright program.

Jason earned his bachelor’s degree from Calvin University, where he studied linguistics and international development. As a McGregor Research Fellow at Calvin, Jason assisted with data collection for the Returning Citizen Services Mapping Application, an interactive online map detailing resources for formerly incarcerated people in Michigan.

Jason is passionate about leveraging ethnographic and geospatial research methods to evaluate equitable access to community resources. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time in nature, baking bread, and playing the mandolin.
