Contact Emily
Emily Doebler (she/her) joined the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy in April 2023 as a research associate.
Most recently, Emily completed her Master of Public Policy at Michigan State University where she focused her research on criminal legal reform, social injustice, and citizens’ engagement in their communities. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Central Michigan University.
While completing her M.P.P. coursework, Emily held an internship with the Michigan Collaborative to End Mass Incarceration (MI-CEMI), where she aided their work in legislation tracking, vital document access for formerly incarcerated people, and reentry work. She also previously worked at the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office in the appellate division.
Emily looks forward to engaging in applied research at the Johnson Center.
