Carol Glanville is a program manager for the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. Carol joined the Johnson Center in 2020. She’s responsible for developing and managing content and curricula for The Grantmaking School and LearnPhilanthropy Academy, an online learning series.
Prior to joining the Johnson Center, Carol was the director of educational technology for the Diocese of Grand Rapids Catholic Secondary Schools where she led the implementation of their 1:1 iPad program. In addition, she’s worked as a consultant for Kent ISD Teachers in Industry Design Thinking Academy and as a curriculum coordinator for the City Colleges of Chicago adult ESL program.
In addition to her work at the Johnson Center, Carol is currently a board member of the West Michigan Trails and Greenways Coalition, president of the Friends of Walker Trails, and organizational consultant for Feeding Walker Kids. She has a B.A. in Spanish and translation from Western Michigan University and an M.A. Ed. in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix.
