Julie Couturier, CPA

Julie Couturier joined the Johnson Center in 2006 and currently serves as the director of operations. In this role, she is responsible for managing departmental human resources and operational processes, as well as all financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the Johnson Center. Julie is also an instructor of the Johnson Center’s Financial Analysis in Grantmaking course.

Previously, Julie was the finance supervisor at Spectrum Health Hospital, responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for ambulatory services. Prior to that, she was the accounting manager for Holland Community Hospital, responsible for all financial reporting, tax reporting, budgeting, cash management, investment management, insurance programs, and external audits for the hospital and two subsidiaries. She also served as an accounting adjunct instructor for Grand Rapids Community College.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Central Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
