Brian Herron is a web developer in the Community Research Institute (CRI) at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University. He joined the Johnson Center in 2016, and is responsible for the analysis and development of CRI-produced client websites. Prior to joining the Johnson Center, he was a Senior Software Developer at Auto-Owners Insurance in Lansing, Mich.
Brian currently does volunteer web development for Family Futures in Grand Rapids, Mich. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Grand Valley State University. He is interested in developing both RESTful web APIs utilizing HATEOAS and intuitive, elegant user interfaces.
